Draftstreet is a website that allows you to play fantasy sports just the way that you normally have in the past. However, this time you are able to pick teams for a daily or a weekly basis. You can also pick teams in a salary cap format for a daily or weekly basis. All of the league types have different entry fees and number of players -- its up to you if you want to compete one-on-one or in a group of 10 strangers. It's up to you if you want to wager $5.00 or $350.00 to play.
The rules, scoring and roster sizes are pretty similar to regular fantasy sports leagues.
The site has two types of leagues: Snake and Salary.
Snake league is for a snake draft format, meaning the 1st pick in the first round gets the last pick in the second round. This is standard in most fantasy leagues. Each team drafts a specific roster and no one can draft the same person as another owner in the league.
Salary Cap leagues are different than standard draft leagues because you are given a dollar amount ($100,000) and every player is valued with a certain amount and you must fill in a roster under the amount. Anyone in the league you join can pick the same players as you.
