So the Giants are done with Plaxico Burress, one of the best WR's in the NFL. Eli has plenty of options on the depth chart so it probably won't hurt the Giants too much, but which team will get the benefit of having a Pro Bowl athlete in the prime of his career?

There's no way that Jerry Jones doesn't run and get the guy who shot himself. I mean, I have a funny feeling that Jerry even knew a while ago that the Giants weren't going to keep him. Or maybe they even talked to Plax and told him to not re-sign with NY. They probably dumped TO knowing that they'd end up nabbing Plax. F-ing Cowboys.
Burress’ four-year tenure with the Giants was highlighted by a game-winning touchdown catch in the Super Bowl against the previously undefeated New England Patriots in February 2008, but it was also dogged by fines and suspensions.
Burress’ status has been uncertain since he shot himself in the thigh on Nov. 29 with a gun he’d stuffed into his waistband. He faces a felony weapons charge that could put him in prison for at least 3 1/2 years if convicted.
Romo is the luckiest bastard. Jessica and now maybe Plax. Maybe he could actually win a playoff game rather than just looking good on paper.
